Lik-lik

Lik-lik esta creciendo bien a pesar de recuperarse lentamente al principio, finalmente a agarrado viaje y ahora es una perra feliz y bastante sana. Hubo momentos después que Gissy la trajo a casa en que teníamos serias dudas de si iba a sobrevivir o no. Pero aquí esta, juguetona, feliz y muy guardiana.
Lik-lik is growing strong after a slow start. For several days after Gisela brough her home we were not sure if she was going to survive the ordeal that she went through in her previous “home”. However she has recovered well and is now a happy go lucky puppy.

La quinta también esta avanzando lentamente. Ya hemos comido los primeros pak choi que hemos producido en casa y a pesar de que la tierra todavía tiene bastante piedra las cosas crecen. Hace unos días plante unos tomates cherry y estoy ansioso de ver el resultado de estos. Estamos recibiendo mucha lluvia a pesar de estar en la época de sequía y eso ayuda bastante a las plantas.

Our little vegetable garden is also growing well despite the numerous stones still left on the soil. We have been able to eat several pak choi and recently I planted some tomatoes. I’m anxiously waiting to see the results of this in the future.
